Spider mites (Acariformes, Tetranychidae) of the Massane Nature Reserve (France)

We present results of the inventory spider mites Massane Forest Nature Reserve made during several field samplings from 2013 to 2017. Nineteen species have been recorded, which represents more than one third known mite fauna in France. Among them, three new were disclosed and are described: Bryobia (Bryobia) alberensis sp. nov. collected on Phyteuma spicatum Helichrysum stoechas, B. (Periplanobia) polymorpha Genista pilosa Tetranychus visigothus nov., Eryngium campestre, respectively. In addition, species, serifiotica, Eotetranychus aurantii fagi recorded France for first time plant as host plants tetranychid mites. The delineation (P.) that presented large variation dorsal setae length shape, was investigated using a combination morphological molecular data. This approach allowed us conclude that, despite such variations key character, all specimens observed belong same species.
